Official site will not open — first move? Open this homepage on a phone hotspot. If it loads, the old network blocked the page. If the client window is already visible, install finished; next are permission and nodes.

Blank at the office, fine at home — that pattern shows up often. Do not hop three “official” links on office Wi‑Fi. One hotspot test usually beats a mistaken reinstall.

Blank page: hotspot first

If the hotspot works, bookmark this site, then retry the original network. Still blank: switch browsers and turn off ad blockers or company proxy extensions. Do not grab a “repair pack” from comments.

Window up, no connect: not a homepage problem

If the UI is open, the entry already did its job. On Windows, check whether the firewall blocked the process. On Mac, check Privacy & Security. Apple’s notes: Privacy and Security. Order of steps lives in the guide.

When to download again

Only if the installer reports damage, or the download page date is newer than your file. Reinstall does not punch through a gateway. More Q&A in the FAQ.
